Radar & Video Converters
Skyquest Aviation supply video converters to convert unconventional or specialist signals to more common types to enable standard displays to be used where previously custom designed units needed to be installed.
Our latest converter converts the signal from the Bendix King / Telephonics RDR1500 series radar to standard VGA or Video and has been designed so that the original CRT indicator can be replaced by a much lighter and smaller colour multi-function LCD display.
By using a new LCD display such as the Skyquest 10.4", users have the ability to show high quality video from FLIR and colour cameras, moving map images and radar output on the same compact display.
We also offer converters to handle signals such as STANAG 3350 A,B or C and VGA to video converters to enable computer generated graphics or moving map images to be recorded.
