Skyquest offer a turn-key solution for live video transmission
from aircraft for users in either the airborne broadcast
or surveillance markets in both analogue and digital
formats.
Steerable systems offering long range live data-linking with automatic ground based tracking receivers through to more simple, low cost shorter range systems.
Using a microwave link on the aircraft allows the user to send live video and audio to a ground based receive station. The ground based station may be fixed, mobile or both, and a range of receivers are available.
Unlike many other products, the use
of microwave link / datalink technology relies on the
user having authority to broadcast signals over a given
frequency. Typically when this equipment is supplied
it is tuned to the users approved frequency.
