Video,
VGA and GPS distribution amplifiers
Skyquest offer a range of
video, RGB and VGA distribution systems designed
for aircraft. Units range from simple amplification
and distribution through to complex video management
systems.
These include:
VADU-9102
Video Distribution
Essentially enables 2 video inputs to be distributed
to 5 outputs (1 in 5 out or 2 in 5 of each
out)

VADU-9104
Video and VGA distribution
Versatile distribution unit to enable both
video and VGA signals to be distributed to
multiple outputs (video displays, microwave
links, video recorders etc.)
VADU-9106
HD (high definition) aircraft video distribution
unit
Enables HD video from cameras such as FLIR
Systems STAR SAFIRE HD and Wescal MX15 HD
to be distributed around the aircraft to
several sources.
VADU-9108 Aircraft rugged
LAN distribution unit.
Product currently under development.
GPS distribution
Skyquest supply both Passive and Active GPS
amplifiers to enable 1 antenna to feed up
to 5 other sources with GPS position data.
Data Distribution
Amplifier (dual GPS output)
Provides dual RS232 buffered outputs from a
single RS232 input.
Cockpit
Intercom Audio Adaptor
Provides galvanic isolation between the aircraft
intercom audio feed a suitable video recorder
or microwave transmitter.
VMS (video management
system)
Enables complex video installations in aircraft
to perform virtually limitless switching and
configuration without complex wiring. Typically
used on surveillance aircraft with several displays,
video recorders, up/down links and ANPR computers
where any operator position can view any input.
